What mentorship looks like

Learning how credit works is easier with people who've been through it, and with someone who knows the law to keep everyone on track.

Ask about mentorship
  • Live Q&A sessions where you can ask about your own situation and hear answers to others' questions
  • Report walkthroughs that show how to read a credit report line by line and spot possible errors
  • Book discussions working through the Understanding Credit series together
  • Rebuilding accountability with check-ins on habits like on-time payments and lower balances
  • Law updates when something changes in credit reporting rules that could affect you

Community guidelines

These keep the groups safe, useful, and on the right side of the law. Breaking them can get you removed.

  • Be respectful. Everyone is at a different point, and no question is too basic.
  • Never post your Social Security number, date of birth, account numbers, or photos of your reports or IDs. Cover personal details before sharing anything.
  • No selling or promoting products or services, including "guaranteed" fixes, tradelines, loans, or any number to use in place of your own SSN.
  • Share experiences, not promises. What worked for one person isn't a guarantee for anyone else.
  • Report scams or suspicious private messages to a moderator right away. ClearPath staff will never ask for payment or personal information in a private message.

Community discussions and mentorship sessions are educational and are not legal advice. Joining the community does not make you a ClearPath client or create a credit repair contract.
